Dale Andrews 1949

Dale participated in Baseball (I year) Golf (3 years) Basketball (4 years). He earned 7 Varsity Letters – 1 in Baseball, 3 in Golf and 3 in Basketball. Dale was the lead scorer for the Reserve Basketball team and scored a basket in a Varsity game as a Freshman. He was voted to the Dayton All City team 3 straight years in Basketball. The 1947 Basketball team won the City Championship. The Tigers advanced to the 3rd round of the District Tournament. Dale was selected to the All District Tournament as a Senior.
Dale received a Basketball scholarship to Otterbein College and he played Varsity Basketball 4 years. He was a teacher in the Dayton School System. Today Dale lives in Kettering with his wife Bobbie. They have 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
