Dick Bach 1954

Dick was a three sport athlete playing four years and earning two letters each in football, basketball and baseball. He played both offense and defense on the football team and was co-captain his senior year. Dick earned All-City honors as an offensive lineman and defensive linebacker and was selected the honorary captain on the All-City team.

Dick was a “sixth” man type of basketball player and had the opportunity to start several games in his junior and senior years. He was one of only two sophomores to make the varsity.

He was also a baseball catcher and started all of the games in his senior year.

Dick has devoted more than fifty years to his career in the carpetĀ  and flooring industry. He has four sons, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He and his wife Betty have resided in Jacksonville Florida for over twenty five years.
