Kelly Adrian was a four year star on the Tigers varsity volleyball and softball teams. The Stivers softball team won 14 and lost only 1 game in the city league her Freshman season. With Kelly playing either third base or centerfield, they won 22 and lost 2 games that first year. During her tenure, the softball team won 2 Dayton city league championships. Kelly was named to the All-City 1st Team her Sophomore and Senior seasons with a .346 and .333 batting average respectively.
Kelly Adrian Ellinger Class of 2003 The volleyball team was a powerhouse all four years that Kelly played. They were Dayton city league champs all four years and went undefeated both her Junior and Senior seasons. During one stretch the Tigers won 32 consecutive games including a four game sweep of the SWOPL tourney. Kelly was a three time All- City 1st Team player and was Stivers’ MVP her Senior year. On Nov. 21, 2002, she earned “Athlete of The Week “ honors from the Dayton Daily News. Her stats that Senior year were 59 Kills, 41 Aces, and 25 Blocks.
After graduating from Stivers, Kelly earned Bachelors Degrees in Rehabilitation Services and Nursing from Wright State University. She works as a nurse in Cincinnati and lives in West Chester with her husband Brian and children, Xander and Lilly.
