The 1920 Stivers Basketball Team lost only 2 games all year, going 16 and 1 during the regular season, 6 and 0 in the state tourney, and 3 and 1 in National competition.
The Tigers won the State of Ohio Championship for the third time in 5 years despite losing All-State player, Fred Sifford, after the first regular season game.

After winning the State of Ohio Championship, the Tigers were invited to play in the National Tournament in Chicago. Stivers won their first 3 games, but lost in the Semi-Finals to Wingate, Indiana by a score of 33 to 19.
