William “Tracy” McGuire was a dynamic guard for Coach Carlos Roberts’ Tigers, averaging 17.2 points per game his senior year and earning First Team All-City, Division III Second Team, and Third Team All-Southwest District honors.
He starred in the Firebird Classic with a clutch overtime win against Waynesville, scoring 24 points.
After high school, Tracy played at Miami-Hamilton University, Clinton Jr. College, and Allen University (South Carolina), where he graduated.
He returned to Dayton to coach basketball at Fairmont High School, later moving back to South Carolina, where he teaches Physical Education and coaches at The Christian Academy — leading their JV team to an undefeated Regional Championship season.
